Selected as a Lead of Coherent Mozilla Club

COHERENT MOZILLA CLUB


Its another proud moment for me that i have been declared as a lead of mozilla club. Its an honor for me to provide web literacy and to tell what open source is all about. I thank Vaibahv Bajaj for his support and menotring me in every possible manner he can. Soon the recuirtment for the club will be started. Eagarly waiting to host an event centered with teching and learing but before that i want to share some of the answers.

Question 1: Can you tell us about your own journey: what's your relationship to the web? how you came to care about web literacy today?

Answer: My journey started from Facebook i found my friend holding a Mozilla Banner and from there i got inspired and decided to join open source. As a techno geek i want that the web should be free and open to all. I want to provide web literacy to all the people who are unaware of it.

Question 2: What kind of success stories or transformations would you like to enable with your club? what does that look like in the next month? in the next year?

Answer: We arranged a meeting of group of people from our campus in past where we have told them about open source and provided them with web literacy. As the result in my campus there are many people who are now interested to join us. they are who, who are unavailable of what does open source and web means.

Question 3: Why do you want to host a Mozilla Club? what will you be able achieve with your club that you could not do before?
Answer: Hosting a Mozilla Club in my campus will help us to provide them web literacy.

Question 4: Can you tell us more about how you'll organize your club? i.e. where it will meet, what kind of participant you want to serve?

Answer: As an Club Captain i will serve the people who are good but don’t find a path to open source. And also to the people who are unaware of open web.

Question 5: What steps you will need to take to make that story a reality?
Answer: We will launch a boot camp so that they can grow, Learn and at future can teach and provide web literacy.

Question 6: What kind of curriculum you would like to have available for you?
Answer: We want kit that can be used for providing the knowledge of web to the people in our campus.

Question 7: How can we support you in making your club more effective and fun?

Answer: We want you to guide us in which way we can organise a event  so that we can provide them knowledge to open web.

Question 8: How are you going to recruit members for the club? what about volunteers to mentor and facilitate session with you?


Answer: Recruit the member for the is easy the person passionate to open source and believe in term open web and also want to serve the technology by providing teaching. The person passionate in providing web literacy can be the part of the club.

Question 9: Will you host a local group of learners that meets at least  three times in the next 6 months to explore how to read, write and  participate with the web in an engaging and inclusive way?

Answer: Yes, we will host a local group of learners that meets at least three times in next six months.
